The Team Assessments Dashboard is the primary workspace for managers to launch, monitor, and finalize skills assessments across their teams. It consolidates all active, pending, and completed assessments into a unified interface, enabling you to drive alignment on capabilities and support your team's development.
This dashboard is accessible by Managers, Skill Managers, and Administrators who are responsible for managing employee competencies and conducting organizational skills gap analysis.
The Team Assessments Dashboard is the central control center for managers in SkillPulse, designed to help you launch, track, and finalize skills assessments for your direct reports. As a manager, you are responsible for guiding your team members through their assessment journey, providing your own ratings, and aligning on the final proficiency values. This dashboard consolidates all individual assessment workflows into a single, intuitive interface, ensuring you never lose track of a team member's progress. By using this dashboard, you can quickly identify which assessments require your immediate attention, monitor ongoing reviews, and access historical completion data. It serves as your main entry point for managing skill alignment and professional growth across your entire organization.
The screenshot below shows the main interface of the Team Assessments Dashboard, illustrating the high-level layout, primary navigation tabs, and the overall team progress view.
When you first load the page, you will notice the navigation header and the default tab showing an overview of your team's active assessment campaigns.
To make managing multiple assessments straightforward, the dashboard organizes your work into five specialized tabs: Needs Your Action, In Progress, Completed, Drafts, and Team Progress. Each tab is designed to isolate assessments at specific phases of the workflow, helping you prioritize your day and focus on what matters most. For instance, the Needs Your Action tab acts as your personal inbox, surfacing only those assessments that are blocked on a manager decision, such as a setup approval or a final sign-off. Conversely, the Team Progress tab is your bird's-eye view, displaying visual completion metrics and individual member statuses for the currently selected campaign. Moving between these tabs allows you to shift seamlessly from tactical task execution to high-level strategic monitoring.
The image below highlights the tab bar located at the top of the dashboard, which allows you to toggle between different assessment lists and progress views.
Each tab displays a counter indicating the number of assessments currently in that specific state, helping you see at a glance where your attention is required.
As your team grows, finding specific records requires powerful search and filtering tools, which are built directly into the dashboard interface. You can search for assessments by typing the employee's name, job profile, or campaign title into the Search team assessments input field. In addition to text search, the Campaign dropdown allows you to scope your view to a specific rollout, while the Status filter helps you isolate assessments in particular states like AWAITING_RESPONSES or PENDING_AGREEMENT_MEETING. For organization-wide roles, advanced filters for Organization, Region, and Country let you drill down into specific organizational units and geographical zones. These filtering controls are interactive and update the assessment grid in real-time, allowing you to quickly isolate the exact cohort or individual you need to review.
As shown in the screenshot below, the filtering panel provides easy access to the search input, campaign selection dropdown, and organizational tree picker.
Using these filters resets your view dynamically, making it easy to generate targeted lists of assessments or progress reports.
Understanding the distinct lifecycle stages of an assessment is crucial for effective governance and timely completion. An assessment in the Draft stage represents an initial setup where you have selected the employee and job profile but have not yet finalized or activated it; you can safely delete drafts using the trash icon if plans change. Once activated, the assessment enters the In Progress stage, where employees and assigned co-assessors perform their ratings, and the dashboard displays status indicators showing who has submitted their feedback. Finally, when an assessment lands in Needs Your Action, it has reached a milestone requiring your direct intervention, such as conducting the agreement meeting or setting final agreed values. Effectively managing these transitions ensures that assessments flow smoothly from creation to completion without stalling at any bottleneck.
The screenshot below illustrates an active assessment card, complete with progress indicators for the employee and co-assessor, and the primary action button.
These cards use color-coded indicators and explicit status badges to tell you exactly who has submitted their ratings and what step is next.
For high-level reporting and analytics, SkillPulse provides administrators and managers with powerful tools to track overall progress and export raw data. From the Team Progress tab, you can view a comprehensive visual summary of campaign completion rates, including the total number of assessments, completed reviews, and overdue/late items. If you need to perform external analysis or share reports with leadership, clicking the Export Results button opens the bulk export dialog. This dialog allows you to download comprehensive CSV or Excel files containing detailed proficiency ratings, target values, and skill gaps across your entire team or organization. Tracking these high-level metrics helps you identify broad training needs and ensure organizational alignment with key capability benchmarks.
The visual below demonstrates the bulk export dialog, where you can select export parameters and trigger the file download.
Once initiated, the system packages the requested team assessment data into a secure download, allowing you to save and analyze it offline.
